I was out of town all last week, and missed my family crazy. This weekend, the kids wanted to see the new Captain America’s . Always up for a good action flick (preferably a character driven with a good storyline), I was not disappointed. While not giving the movie away, I was intrigued with the consistent theme of governmental compartmentalize, while the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. Within the movie, Project Paperclip was mentioned.
I doubt very seriously many of the audience members caught it or even know about Project Paperclip.
What is Project PaperClip?
Project Paperclip is an actual historical occurrence during the end of . The codename Project Paperclip was originally dubbed Project Operation Overcast. German scientists were extricated, during the end and after in order to acquire their knowledge. Most of these scientist specialized in aerodynamics and rocketry, chemical weapons, medicine, and chemical reactions (think nuclear and advanced weaponry). Interestingly, these scientist and their families were brought into United States without State Department’s approval or review. This accurate historical fact shows just how the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.
